BaseLots is building a way for rental owners to sell a small share of a property to many everyday co-owners, while keeping the majority, the tenants, and their property manager. We don't replace property managers or agents. You can apply to be a partner, or tell a property owner about us.

How working with us would look

If you're a property manager

  • You keep managing. When an owner works with BaseLots, they keep their property manager. You'd keep running the property day to day: tenants, repairs and upkeep.

  • Everything in writing. How the property is managed would be set out in a written agreement before anything is decided.

  • You can tell owners about us. If an owner you work with is thinking about selling part of a rental while keeping the rest, you can point them our way.

If you're a real estate agent

  • Refer a property owner. If you know someone who owns a rental and might be a fit, tell them about BaseLots, or share our rental owners page with them.

  • Apply to be a partner. If you'd like to work with us on properties in your area, tell us a little about yourself below.

Referrals are for property owners and their rentals only.

BaseLots is not open for investment yet, and no offering is guaranteed. Talking with us costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

Will BaseLots replace me?
No. Owners who work with BaseLots keep their property manager. We want to work with the managers and agents owners already know.
What kinds of properties are you looking for?
Houses, duplexes, triplexes and fourplexes in the U.S., with tenants already in place. Our rental owners page has the full list.
Can I refer people who want to invest?
No. Referrals are for property owners only. Anyone else interested in BaseLots can find information on our website.
Should I put an owner's contact details on this form?
No, please don't. Tell the owner about BaseLots and they can reach us through our rental owners page, or tell us about the property in general terms and we'll talk about next steps.
Does getting in touch commit me to anything?
No. Talking with us costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Anything we do together would be set out in a written agreement first.
